The Mercku M2 Hive is a unique WiFi system that combines flexibility and performance. The system comprises of many nodes, referred to as "Bees", that extend the range of the M2 WiFi router, the "Hive". This ensures that every location in the house, including upper floors and basements, is blanketed with a stable signal. Furthermore, the system is designed to cater to the uniqueness of every home, allowing users to easily connect and disconnect individual Bee nodes as per their requirements.

The M2 Hive system is a product of advanced technology and innovative design. The software used for its design includes Sketchbook Pro, Rhino 5, and UG. The system is made from PC and ABS materials and is produced in a fully robotic factory. The system's performance is driven by a patented antenna design, an in-house built transceiver, and reduced system noise. The product is user-friendly and begins working as soon as it's plugged in.

The design process of the M2 Hive system was not without challenges. Balancing performance and aesthetics was a major hurdle. The product needed to be small enough to fit any plug and blend with home decors, yet powerful enough to provide market-leading performance. The solution was to shrink the node to only thirty percent of the size of competitors' products, a feat that made the design process complex but ultimately successful.

The design was completed between September and November 2017 and was exhibited at the Web Summit in November 2017 and CES in January 2018. The system has already started shipping products to early adopters, marking the beginning of a new era in home WiFi connectivity.
